We are the Acanthus Workshop, llc. Our goals are simple. We want to provide the best educational experience available to craftspeople of all levels. When you attend one of our classes you'll understand why we say we're dedicated to your success.
Our classes are specifically designed to be small in size to allow the students maximum access to their mentors. All our mentors are master craftsmen in their own right. Most are fulltime professionals at the top of their field. We figure that the best way for you to learn how to do something is to learn from someone who does it daily as a way of making their living. You won't find amateurs teaching our classes or people who have merely read about how to do something in a book or magazine. They actually do it each and every day to perfection.
We want our students to feel at home in the Acanthus Workshop. Your success is our primary goal. After you've completed a course, you are welcome to contact your mentor for additional information on how to do something that was covered in class. We realize that our classes are so packed with information that you may not recall every technique or tip you learned. That's why we give you access to you mentors long after the class is over. You are also welcome to visit the shop and observe any class you've already taken, as long as there is space available, at no charge. Feel free to contact us to make arrangements to sit in on a class so you can get that refresher you are needing.
